Houston Croquet Association at Palm Beach Club Doubles Tournament

Tournament: March 13-17, 2024

The NCC Clubs tournament in Palm Beach was quite a success for the HCA travel team. Not only did HCA win multiple awards, we were one of the largest groups in attendance with 16 HCA travel members led by our enthusiastic & organized travel team captain, John Craddock!  Our group consisted of the following: John Brown, Mary Jo Chapoton, Don Chapoton, Mary Craddock, John Craddock, Donna Hamel, Lee Hamel, Mathilde Leary, Joe Leary, Maudie Carter, Boyd Parker, Penny Pressler, Charlotte Pulitzer, Bob Pulitzer, Jackie Wallace and Bass Wallace.

WOW - what accomplishments all the way around. Every one of our team members played extremely high level croquet and should be proud of themselves as individuals and as teammates. We had quite a few beginners here that should be recognized as well as they played very competitive games and have come a long way in a short period of time. We highly encourage anyone to compete in croquet tournaments as they are for all levels of play. Do not be intimidated as there is always someone who is on par with your ability. Just get out there, have fun and enjoy meeting new friends and playing a game we all love.
